The tendency not to know at the time when the government is actually infecting you

The front page of the Washington Post this morning has a story that reads :" The United States revealed on Friday that the government conducted medical experiments in the 1940's in which DOCTORS [my emphasis] infected soldiers, prisoners, and mental patients in Guatemalan with syphilis and other sexually transmitted diseases."

Now my question is if the Government can admit it did this in the forties is it any wonder that we have some lone voices crying in the wilderness saying that the same US government is actively involved in reducing our numbers now. According to some such voices the United Nations has it in it's documents that injections will be used. Parents of Autistic children are sure that being given injections made their children Autistic.

Could it be that if such a claim was made back in the forties it would of equally been ignored and ridiculed?

We should dig up Harry Truman and put him on trial.

I would rather see medical experiments performed on humans than helpless animals.

Remember, the slightest mention that the government may not be acting in your best interest makes you a wack-job tea-bagging conspiracy theorist...unless you're black from Tuskeegee, Japanese who spent time in a concentration camp, Guatamalan who was injected with syphillis, a patient who was injected with plutonium, an antiwar demonstrator who wound up on a secret list, a protestor who was framed for a crime, an American Indian who watched his family get butchered by the US Army, or a resident of the Bikini Islands who lost your family home so atom bombs could be tested.

Unless you're one of those people, you have nothing to worry about.

I can't figure out why the US government had to infect people. Couldn't they just follow around a bunch of sailors on a weekend out.
