Is this some plot to "make good" with Hispanic voters before this election? Never mind that a demokrat regime oversaw the infection of these poor people, nothing is below a demokrat. I'm speaking more of the timing of this "apology". Truman was in office during this time, undoubtedly ordering death sentences on these people because they were poor and brown. Why any minorities vote these korrupt monsters into office is beyond me.

What about the CIA instituted coup in 1954, approved I believe by a Republican administration, or the (Theodore) Roosevelt Corollary which authorized American intervention in the affairs of Caribbean nations. Neither political party has been that kind to our neighbors to the south.

Introducing influence into foreign affairs is part of being an independent state.
