That's what I was telling someone who was watching it with me. I said, "watch, they'll have Maggie find Glenn in some big production type romantic scene (from her perspective) only for him to have to tell her that Beth is dead".
And yeah, the Daryl thing is pretty obvious he's going to need to make a choice, but it may not be with Beth. That would be too easy for him. Probably with some family they come across with Joe & co. wanting to kill them and steal their stuff.

Wierd thing is that they don't really say much about animals. We know walkers like to eat animals besides humans. SOmeone at the prison was feeding them rats and in the first season they were eating a horse alive in one scene.
But it doesn't look like animals become zombies, only humans.

If you notice in the first episode of the second half of this season, when we were shown the aftermath of the prison battle, there is a gutted out horse by the fence. That horse wasn't in any of the previous episodes.

Wasn't Michonne or somebody seen riding a horse around at some point before the prison fell?

Anyway, the burning zombie part was awesome, great zombie horror there.
The part where Lizzie killed her sister and then had to be put down was actually hard to watch. You know she's a little psycho but she's still a little girl. Should've known when early in the episode, for the first time, we actually see her get upset and cry for real, not faking it like a psychopath with no real emotions, that she was about to get killed off, but wow, the thing with her sister and then Carol executing her, did not see that comming.
And then Carol showed that she's NOT a psycho by fessing up to Tyreese. That took some guts.

That railroad tunnel was fucking creepy. I wouldn't have thought so, except that a few years ago my brother and I were on a bike trail that went through an old mile-long railroad tunnel in Pennsylvania, and it was scary as shit. The tunnel had a curve in the middle so you couldn't see light at the other end, it was just a dark hole into the earth, and cold wind was blowing out of it. Even with no chance of a train tunnels are creepy places to be. Now add zombie moaning noises, and fuck that shit.

Excellent episode! Terminus has a really creepy and unsettling feel about it.
When I saw the woman with the large slaps of meat on the grill, I got an even creepier feel. She also was eager for them to settle down.
I have a feeling that the hippie woman is a cannibal, and she and others are killing and eating exhausted survivors.
Prediction: Everyone gets imprisoned and saved up for a cannibal's meal, and the scumbag group that Daryl is with saves the day and shoots all the Terminus cannibals.

Maybe the funeral home was bait for Terminus food.
Isn't it wierd that with all those signs telling people to go to Terminus, there was almost no activity, just one woman (Tasha Yar?) cooking food, nobody even guarding the gate? Something about that place is awful.
Isn't it wierd that with all those signs telling people to go to Terminus, there was almost no activity, just one woman (Tasha Yar?) cooking food, nobody even guarding the gate? Something about that place is awful.

That was a great season. Rick pulling a Jack Baur bite attack on Joe's neck was awesome, Michonne got to bag a few dirtbags. I also loved the random guy getting his face eaten by zombies. What the fuck was that idiot doing out there by himself like that? Most of the people still alive at this point know how to deal with zombies. Zombies are just part of the environment, now, like weather. The real threat is other people, like these Terminus assholes.

As much as I like The Walking Dead, there was 4-5 minutes of show and 5-6 minutes of commercials for the ENTIRE episode. That really threw off enjoyment of the storyline.

For once Daryl was actually not the number one badass, tonight he had to get in line behind Rick, Carol, and Tyreese.
I'm actually going to miss having those connibals to hate on; watching them get fucked up was the best part. Zero sympathy for any of them. I liked it when they would get shot and left for the zombies to eat them alive.
Did anyone see the cannibal leader die? Or is he possibly still alive? Rick promised to kill him with the machete with the red handle, but I didn't see him after they broke out of the butcher room.

No, Gareth's not dead. If you watch the previews that were produced over the summer you'll see he's in scenes that were not in last night's episode.
Did you notice the first guy to get killed in the slaughter room was that boy that Rick and Carol ran into in the episode when Rick banish Carol from the group? He was with the gimpy girl who got eaten as Rick and Carol were picking tomatoes. The watch Carol picked up was the one that Rick had given that kid to meet them back at a certain time.
Great episode. I was kind of expecting a let down, not sure why, but this one certainly delivered. Glad to see Carol was the badass and Tyreese finally man up and realize he's going to have to do some killing in this new world. Though notice it took a threat against Judith to get him there.

Good eye about the watch guy, I thought he was familiar. The beating to the heads with the baseball bat was pretty brutal for a TV show.
The thing about this show is that I actually thought that punk dude was gonna kill the baby. When all you heard was zombies getting stomped and Tyreese busted back in the door that was one of the most badass moments in the show, followed by the extended death beating he gave that fucker.

Yeah, although somewhat morbid that is the cool thing about this show: they have no problem killing off main characters. Sure they have plenty of their own version of the TOS ensigns in red uniforms, but they're just as willing to kill off the likes of Hershel, Shane, Amy, Lori, Dale, T-Dog, The Governor, Mika, Lizzy, etc. Baby Judith would likely not be exempt, though that might be a bridge too far even for Gimpel.
Glad to see Tyreese give that guy a true beat down rather than punk out and just shoot him.
And I really like how Carol dispatched with Mary. Some pretty hard shit.

Yeah. They led us to believe somehow that "THEN" was after Rick and crew took over and reversed the fortunes but really through Mary's explanation we learned that then was before they became cannibals. Kind of makes sense after seeing "we first" in their sanctuary room with the candles.
What was disturbing was when they threw Mary back in the boxcar and grabbed the other girl to be raped again. She pleaded not again and Gareth said it's going to be okay and that creeper said, "no, it's not."
Can't wait to see how they dealt with him. Hopefully that will be next week and it will be gruesome.

You already saw - he was the guy with the tattoos on his face that Glen insisted they let go. Kinda makes sense of his 'We're the same! We're the same!' when they let him out. He was clearly mad so Rick stepped back, and he was immediately eaten by walkers.

Rick was right. They should have gone back and finished of the Terminus folks. In the comic they were the hunters; in the show it's an adaptation. This was the lesson the French Revolutionaries, the Russian revolutionaries, and the Nazis all knew: you can't leave your enemy alive to come back. Interesting how that doctor fessed up that he had her kill the oncologist since he would no longer be indispensable if there were two doctors. And in retrospect, remember how adamant Dawn was about the doctor trying to save him? I wonder if she also recognized him as a doctor.
And, been wondering about how the doctor told Beth things changed from them just saving people then he stopped, and Beth was not over run by walkers when she was taken. This has me thinking Dawn and crew are out there looking for people and abducting them to their little hospital world, aka Slabtown.

This episode was good. The lollipop/sucker scene was LOL funny. I wonder how many police officers would become rapists if society broke down....
So Slabtown residents are the ones driving the serial killer looking cars with the crosses on the back window.....which leads back to last season; who was the one at the funeral home that kept everything nice and neat and was embalming the walkers?

Well as I figured Eugene is full of shit. I was wondering what they'd all do when they figured that out. Abraham was justified in knocking the shit out of him, that was great how they filmed that.
