Nice. Complete with aimpoint red dot and a laser. Is that in 5.56x45 or 7.62x39?

It's a Kel Tec PLR16, fires 5.56, they also make a .22LR version. Very reliable and cheap pistols.

Kel Tec originated from the same guy that made the TEC-9, but these new pistols are pretty well made for their price. Ugly as shit, but reliable.

Cool, didn't recognize it as I don't have any Kel Tec's in my arsenal. As long as they are reliable, cheap price tags don't scare me. Unless that is, they are being sold out of a trunk in an alley.

I'm a FN, Steyr, H&K, LWRC, Colt, S&W, Accuracy International and Barrett collector. I like Glock handguns too, as they are tough as nails. If you treat your handgun like you do your lawnmower, buy a Glock.

I'm the idiot or are you for believing the hype about
a gun with a strong spring? Only an idiot would own a
semi-auto and worry about jamming. ANY SEMI-AUTO JAMS.
Don't believe me? Ask any cop who's department furnishes
them with Glocks and listen to the shit they say.
Many officers I have known who had semi-auto service
weapons carry a revolver just because of how badly
they suck, EVEN GLOCKS.

All these people think Glocks are prone to the same BS as
ANY other gun, strong spring or not.

Congratulations to the resident Internet Tough Guy on learning how to Google his claims. However, Glocks are some of the most reliable pistols ever manufactured, and I called you an idiot due to the fact I know you have never fired a weapon or own a firearm of any sort.

Really?

Well you are right, if owning a gun requires purchasing it.

NEVER Fired a weapon? Come on now eesh, don't be silly.

I've never had a Glock, but I'm really interested in the 10mm variants for backwoods carry. I'd just take the S&W .357 Magnum for such a purpose, but it's not really my own piece anyhow.

Let's see, I'd say that right now I have Marlins, a Winchester or two, Springfield (Original armory, US Cavalry issue), Smith & Wesson, Browning, Colt, Remington, and a few others (Including a Wards Western Field). I don't currently have any European brands, aside from maybe an English piece, but I have to run the manufacturer to be certain. I have a musket hanging around here too, but I have no clue who made it (All I know is that it's from my old family farm, circa 1842 (It was modified to percussion cap at some point in time as well)).

Great choice! The 10mm is an excellent round with ballistics rivaling a .45 ACP. It has faster velocities for a heavy round. Overall it kicks a little harder, hits harder and leaves a nastier path of devastation than the .45 ACP. 10mm Glocks are tough, reliable and make great backcountry sidearms that could take down a bear, coyote, or even an evil tacomonkey. They are reasonably priced for a pistol that can take serious abuse and still maintain its reliability.

I prefer a thumb safety for cocked and locked consealed carry, so I have a Wilson CQB Elite in 10mm for this. In the woods, whether fishing whitewater kayaking, backpacking or caving I carry a Glock 10mm. I prefer to leave one "not" in the chamber while packing a Glock, but I have and will if I feel it's necessary. I've heard about too many experienced shooters blowing off a chunk of ass unholstering or reholstering a loaded Glock. It always boils down to human error in the end, but something as simple as a shirt tail can enter the trigger guard and put your ass and other's at risk.

Sounds like you have some really neat pieces. Hang on to them! They will be worth something fierce one day. If you find anything out about that musket drop me a line. I'm facinated with modern and ancient firearms.
