the proceeds are going to charity,but keep spinning the hate if that puts a trill up your leg. i was there and i bet you had to search hi and low for 1 confederate flag T i didn't see anything but U>S> and state flags people came from across the country to attend.i saw atleast 4 generations of people there at least.the sharpton rally didn't even get 25% of the districts pop.to attend?and none of the king family was there or can you prove otherwise.given the fact that sharpton has been in the demonstration biz for decades you would have thout he would of reserved the date last year or is he motivated only by profit and seeing that he couldn't extort any corporations with the fear of a boycott only held a counter rally as an attempt to keep his name relevant.the rhetoric at his rally was clearly devisive along racial lines whereas beck's was inclusive stressing honor, duty, morality.

Well I did have to search hi and low to see anyone of color or of normal weight.

I thought it was a gathering of the last people who have AOL email accounts.

That's because all the fat racist colored ones where at the Sharpton 'rally'.

I went and was sort of disappointed. It was nice to see a decent turn out, but the whole thing left a lot to be desired. If I wanted a spiritual rah rah session I will get it on Sunday from my minister, not from a Mormon, who are (debatably) barely Christian. I wanted this to be political, but I hate to say it the lefties one on this one by cornering Beck in not being political. We are mad and I want the media and Washington to see it! Beck let us down.

Bottom line is Beck is a DJ, painted into the same shoes as Limbaugh, but with much less talent and appeal, (Much like FFUG's favorite son Mike O'Meara). I also don't want to go to see a man speak who allegedly raped and killed a girl in 1990.

Wait....was Beck at Chapaquidick also? I thought that was the Kennedy's domain!

I went into DC early Saturday afternoon to find the best Bloody Mary's in the city. I was going to travel all over, starting in Adam's Morgan. I had no clue the Glen Beck rally was going on. I'm really out of the loop, politically.

Anyway, I'd never seen so many middle/upper aged white people with wal-mart camping chairs strapped to their back. They inundated every establishment. But Adam's Morgan was a nice choice because it was far away from the rally and the Honor Rallyers our whoever they were. And every time, we were headed in the opposite direction, thankfully. Streets, metro, etc.

In the end I got mine and drank a lot of tomato juice and vodka and horse radish and only got kicked out of one cab and that was because I wasn't up front that I wanted a ride home all the way back to Fairfax (didn't want to mess with metro anymore).

Go watch the video of the rally on cspans website before you talk. Many of these ignorant fools are just regurgitating what the read and hear from the media.

The U.S. Park service stated that there were 350k or more in attendance.
Metro reported 510k riders that day.

And it wasn't even about politics yet liberals are freeeeeaking out about it. Childish.

Not 510k riders, but trips so you have to divide by two. Average weekend is around 300k trips or 150 people. There was a nice size crowd at the Nats game too that night, so I say the metro number support a 100k size rally, which is not even the biggest this year. The Imigration reform rally had over 200k in March.

Well the liberal media would make it seem that Becks rally was the biggest ever...The last two 200k+ rallies, Gay rights and immigration reform never got the attention that Beck got....but I am glad facts hurt you so much that you have to insults someone….that leaves me deeply satisfied…Thank you!
