Alias went to meet up with Registered Voter, but his crippling social anxiety left him bed-ridden.

Alias liked the rally though.

I was there. Not a big Beck fan, but thought it'd be a great way to actually see the event and then witness the MSM's smearing of it.

They didn't disappoint.

Yes, eesh.. I was there and you'll be happy to know I fell into a 3-4 foot deep hole in the ground, directly in front of the Washington Monument.

I was backing up for a picture.. and then...poof, I disappeared.

My family went and although I couldn't hear very well because I was at the Washington Monument (moving seats according to the shade angles), I could hear enough to enjoy the gathering and it's purpose. Even Al Sharpton on Geraldo tonight admitted that Glenn Beck hit a home run today. Glenn Beck wasn't like he was on his show usually. It was not political and was a great message of us getting back to God, character, and honor. One thing we could all agree upon is that the actual soldiers in the wars (not talking about the wars themselves) have a great deal of character and have been willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Although it is huge news that the soldiers of the Iraq war are coming home, there hasn't been much fanfare about those who served and there should be. We should all be giving them a great big thank you and that is one of the things they did today.

The overall message piggybacked MLK speech. Not to measure by the color of skin but the content of one's character.

It was a good day, no matter how you might try and spin it.

Quest,

do you know what makes YOU the racist, and NOT them?

The fact that they would have their event on the same steps that a
black man made his historic speech from, where he delivered a message of
goodwill, tolerance, and unification.

One thing certainly is apparent though. And that is the fact that
nobody listens to stupid idiots like YOU, because you're a Liberal twit.

Oh yes, because it must be racist to know that 90% of D.C. is full of welfare grubbers. I didn't make it "Chocolate City", nor the "Murder Capital" (For how many years running was that?). Sharpton only represents hood rats, and people who flunked 7th grade because they thought it was cooler to "Get their grind on".

you guys need to learn that just because you may not have used the word "nigger" anywhere in your statement, there's still a thing called subtext. And equating a Martin Luther King rally with a 'gimme my welfare' rally definitely has racist subtext.

but I like you Packleader; you seem like a good kid. I hope we're cool....I can't handle yet another blood-feud on this site. I already feel like the new eesh.

Well you had two venues for enjoyement

Glenn Becks rally estimated at 100,000 plus or Sharptons estimated at 3,000 or less. Kinda strange how the MSM hasn't published many pictures of both rallies. Kinda strange why Dr King's niece didn't attend Sharpton rally or march. Damn Where was Jesse Jackson? Did Al say "I have a dream" or "I have a scream...Mo Money Mo Money".

The Washington Post gave ample coverage to the Rev. Al Sharpton's pathetic, racist rally with an estimated 3,000 people. The "Restore Honor" rally, by contrast, received NO mention in the Post whatsoever.

Sharpton has never done anything except stir up racial unrest and lie to suit his own agenda. It is revolting that the Washington Post not only gives this cretin any acknowledgment, but also paints him as a leader in this country.

Alveda King, MLK's niece, was at Glenn Beck's stupid revival meeting in DC on Saturday. About her, Beck had this to say: "A woman whose past, her family's past, has been washed in blood. Her father and her uncle were both killed for standing for what is right." MLK's brother, A.D. King, wasn't killed for his stand on civil rights, he drowned in a swimming pool in July, 1969.

Not a Beck fan but watched it on TV and couldn't help but be impressed. Heard no politics, just an urging for people to straighten up and appreicate what they have in this country. Hopefully they will. Whether you believe in a higher power or not, this country is the best thing that has ever happened for most people living here. We've made some mistakes, we are a young country, but the American experience has been pretty successful as compared to most, and I for one, would like to see it continue.

When Farrakhan had his million man march there were some politically charged statements but the focus was much more on a positive message to black americans to take responibility for their own. IMHO there was nothing wrong with either Beck or Farrakhan's message. Mr Sharpton is much more focused on blame and retribution for perceived injustices and keeping his followers angry, the opposite of Dr. King's message.

Based on the YouTube clips I've seen so far, it seemed more like a sermon than anything else. Both Beck and Palin seem to think that all our problems are due to the lack of God in politics (but only the Christian God).

If they had their way, we'd be more like the Christian Taliban.

Brilliant conclusion! I thought the Jewish rabbi and native Americans they had up there on stage with the Christian preacher opening were illusions, some kind of David Copperfield trick. Now you have confirmed those suspicions. And I also though that having 86% of Palin's speech time spent on stories of military vets was an illusion, it just must have SEEMED that way. Thank you again for opening my eyes! Praising the efforts of our military is a pro-CHRISTIAN MISSION, not an "American" one.

Liberals are so crazy over this rally... there were no political signs there, the area was left spotless (compare with Farrakhan's march if you dare to), and everything said there was true. They hate Glenn Beck so much, and now Americans who watched the rally are scratching their heads asking "What is their problem with him?"

Well Numbers, if nothing else you are consistent. Any mention of any religious view points automatically translates to a "negative" in your mind. Something to be feared and destroyed.

86%? How did you determine that? Was it so contrived that the speeches were compartmentalized into percentages? WTF?
Besides, there is no lack of support for the military in this country. I haven't seen protests and widespread marches against the military. Have you?

Instead of holding a faux pep rally on the mall, why not "praise the efforts of the military" by providing better care for them? The soldiers sitting at home with arms and legs missing could give a rats ass about this bullshit self-promoting rally. What they want is help paying for the damage done as a result of their service.

Somehow I doubt that. For me, it just confirmed what a self-centered sack of lying shit Glenn Beck is. One day he'll be caught off camera/on microphone saying something stupid and we'll all have a good laugh.

I was there - went for an all day solo ride - thought I'd go check out the spectacle. Was full of mostly middle aged whiteys - looked hard - couldn't find a single black or hispanic person. Was bloody crowded, people were behaved, courteous and just there to listen to their Fuhrer speak a few words. In terms of rallies and such this one was quite subdued really. Was hoping for some sparks from the black counter rally but there really wasn't anything.

Blah blah blah. Someone who has a problem with a peaceful assembly is an amerikan. Live and let live. Why do you oppose peaceful assembly so much? How did those people hurt you? You sound afraid, jumping at shadows. For someone who claims to not believe in existence of God you sure are afraid of Him. If you truly don't believe He is real and the topic upsets you so much why not just ignore the subject as you are free to do?

Yes, I'm hurt deeply by "those people". I was up all night worried about the effect of those people and their pep rally.

More afraid of "it" actually. God has no place in politics and politicians that believe in fairy tales should scare people. Do you really want someone that actually believes in Noahs Ark with their finger on the nuclear trigger?

>>>>> Jews wrote the Bible. I don't see why any Christian would hate anyone but especially Jews.

There is a common joke that goes something like this.
A Jewish man's son came home from Israel and told his father he had become a Christian. His father was so distraught and didn't know what to do so he went to a friend who told him, "Funny you should mention that, my son also went to Israel and came back a Christian" Both men decided to go see the Rabbi and ask him what to do. The Rabbi said "Funny you should mention that, my son went to Israel and came back a Christian". The Rabbi then decided they should pray together. They prayed about their sons and asked God what to do. There was a rumbling in the clouds and a strong voice came from the heavens..."Funny you should mention that...."

> and native Americans

Because America has helped the native americans soooo much. What a joke.

>>>>>>My husband is a Native American and went yesterday. Glenn Beck had a three part series last week on the difference between Manifest Destiny and Divine Providence. It was very good and Glenn Beck (like most people would) said he believed that what happened to the Indians was wrong. Native Americans did get the short end of the stick. We all know that but there is not turning around and giving it back now. It's too late. Is it Glenne fault? At least he is on air teaching history and how we can learn from it.

> they had up there on stage

I didn't know about the Christian preacher. I was referring to Beck and Palin preaching the good word.

>>>>>Anyone preaching a "good word" is a good idea. Would you rather them have been up there telling over 300,000 people how to be dishonest and spew hate. Even if you believe they do that on a regular basis, they didn't do it yesterday so it shouldn't give you a worse opinion of them than you had before. As you used the word"good" to describe the word rather than "bad". The Bible has all pure words. None of them are bad. It is the hypocrytical Christians and those who don't like Christianity because it is so basically good that some see it as being childish that minimize it's true value to everyone.

Those of us that have family that were in Vietnam can most certainly recognize the difference between the treatment of soldiers then and now. But with our short attention span and the fact that a sex tape can get you millions when giving up your life for each and everyone of us is not publicized is sad. I recognize that I am equally at fault for misprioritizing what is important but when someone does something good to recognize the troops, I am not going to fault them when it does good overall.

You don't have to lose one aspect to gain the other. you can thank them and help them both. This rally raised $5 million dollers for the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Doesn't that qualify as both?

I hope he doesn't because so far I don't agree with everything he has said but I have learned more about our history on his program than I did in FF County Public Schools from Elementary to High School so I will give him some credit and not wish the worst like you do. It'll actually sadden me if it happens. i wont' be laughing and if you were of better character, you would understand that taking the high road and not shoving things in people's faces when it turns out they believed in something that wasn't good after all doesn't mean they should stop believing in anything good. It should sadden everyone when any type of politician, hero, or anyone in the spoltlight who people actually admire (wrongly or rightly) turn out to be not so great. Plus, I hope we don't shatter people's lives because of one small mistake either.

What drives me crazy is that anyone who would actually be worth making our President (no I would not want Glenn Beck as President) wouldn't be stupid enough to run. Their whole lives, their families lives, and anyone they ever came in contact with will have every skeleton in their closet found.

The rally was about looking at the good. Soldiers, religion, character. What is so bad about that? No matter who did it?

And it came to pass that a sign of the end times appeared as Glenn Beck in the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s clothing. And as he reveled in the rapture of his own twisted dreams, not everyone could see that he bore the mark of the wolf and was, in fact, the Anti-King.

the crowd that as recently as four months ago he hadn't figured out how to do a "nonpolitical" rally that would appeal to masses. Then he did some research and learned that the military is the most honored institution in America. And voila!

He'd throw a fundraiser for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. A worthy cause. And by wrapping his political agenda in the blood of fallen soldiers, skeptics would have to cut through the flag to get at him.

The best way to control opposition....is to LEAD it.

That is what Glenn Beck does. That is what Glenn Beck did at his bullshit march.

We all know the quote..."Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"

THAT is what Glenn Beck does.

The establishment recognize that people are waking up, so they paid Glenn Beck $50 Million dollars to lead it INTO THE GROUND.

Where was Glenn Becks chalk board during the 8 years that BUSH was dismantling the constitution? He wasn't bitching back then.

Just like the "liberal" media (Anderson Cooper, Keith Olberman, Rachel Maddow) aren't bitching about the government expanding anymore.

CNN provides LEFT COVER and FOX NEWS provides RIGHT COVER in this bull shit left right paradigm soap opera reality show.

Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally was a sight to behold. And so were you.

When Beck was reminding us of our right to free speech and about all the good things that make our country, I happened to catch a glimpse of you. You were (probably) in your late 40s, white and looking relatively buff, with a mop of black hair. You appeared to be by yourself, engaged in the emotions of the day, sitting in a hunting-camo print lawn chair. Me and my girlfriends, we were wearing flag shirts in lieu of signs. Mine said "Old Navy." As we were listening to Beck talk about how "we are going to concentrate on the good things in America, the things that we have accomplished - and the things that we can do tomorrow," we locked eyes. It was momentary, but intense. I knew what I wanted to do right then. I wanted to be with a fellow patriot.

As we were leaving on the Metro today (something I admittedly regret due to its socialist nature), I thought of the future the two of us could have together, Mr. Don't Tread on Me. I know what your shirt said, but you could tread on me any day of the week. I tried to see if I could catch you again, but you were gone. I was loaded with regret, God and country.

I'm a DWF who lives in Virginia. I'm active in the cause and hope that when November comes, we can celebrate together, as one. I know this is a long shot, but I hope I can find you.

"getting America back to God, character, and honor"

Back to God.. Can anyone tell me when this county belonged to religion?

What is God going to do to solve our problems? How is it going to get us more character or honor?
If I don't believe in God, just like many of the troops Beck is "supporting". Am I incapable of character or honor?

In all of history, when did "getting a country back to god" ever solve anything? Ask the Afghanis' how that one turned out.. the enforcement of Sharia law, (aka Gods Law) really works for those people.

Oh, and which God is Beck referring to? I believe he remarked that honor and character are christian values.. are they also Muslim,Buddhist, or Jewish values?

Glad to see the support for the troops, $5 million raised, of which a large chunk will go to SWOF after expenses. It was a great event and there is a reason why most active duty and retired troops lean right and tend to shun liberals.

(think Vince, and some of bozos ^^^)

For what it's worth, I don't watch Beck, and voted against Bush both times.

It did seem to be an impressive turnout, but here is the estimate by an independent organization:

An estimated 87,000 people attended a rally organized by talk-radio host and Fox News commentator Glenn Beck Saturday in Washington, according to a crowd estimate commissioned by CBS News.

The company AirPhotosLive.com based the attendance on aerial pictures it took over the rally, which stretched from in front of the Lincoln Memorial along the Reflecting Pool to the Washington Monument. Beck and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin spoke at the rally.

Beck, who predicted that at least 100,000 people would show up, opened his comments with a joke: "I have just gotten word from the media that there is over 1,000 people here today."

The area around the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington during a rally organized by conservative commentator Glenn Beck is seen in this aerial picture taken Aug. 28, 2010.
(Credit: AirPhotosLIVE.com) AirPhotosLive.com gave its estimate a margin of error of 9,000, meaning between 78,000 and 96,000 people attended the rally. The photos used to make the estimate were taken at noon Saturday, which is when the company estimated was the rally's high point.

Rally organizers had a permit for crowd of 300,000. Crowd estimates used to be provided by the National Park Service, but the agency stopped counting crowds in 1997 after being accused of underestimating the size of the Million Man March in 1995.

lol, as commissioned by CBS News.

Isn't that the same organization that brought us rather-gate?

Even the liberal Wapo called the crowd 'enormous"

It's funny reading the descriptions in the MSM after being there. All sorts of adjectives are used as perjoratives: tea party, mostly white, conservative, underestimates of the crowd on CNN and CBS.

I'm trying to find an article on the Sharpton gig that says a mostly black and extreme left, angry and tiny crowd used the anniversary of MLK's speech to further their own cause and personal publicity.

I'm shocked (not really) that none exists.

All of the media "estimates", including with regard to crowd demographics reports, reminds me of President Reagan's funeral (Which included the massive line that extended for miles to view Ronald Reagan as he was "Lying in State"). I remember reading a letter to the editor that was published by Time magazine shortly thereafter, and some black woman was claiming that only white folks showed up to Reagan's funeral, all because he "didn't do anything for us", and she made this whole racial rant about the entire affair. Yet, I was there, at both the procession and the Rotunda viewing, and there were people from all across the nation, all walks of life, ethnicity, status and so on, and you couldn't ask for a better representation of America in its entirety. Obviously, the lady had never even been there in the first place, and so she was speaking out of her ass.

I watched some of the coverage on TV and noticed CNN descibed them as "the conservatives are holding a rally on the Mall, and Civil Rights Activists are holding one at Dunbar High School."

The black reporter on CNN had her mouth open in awe because King's niece spoke at Beck's rally and not Sharpton's.

I watched some of the live coverage of Sharptons rally on Channel 8
and the majority of the white people who were visible to the cameras
were from the Socialist Workers Party. (Trotskyites) That doesn't say
much about "diversity" in Sharptons little bubble. SWP is fielding a
candidate for Mayor but then again, the Trots go to every event on
or near the Mall anyway.

They don't do it because every single gathering/protest/rally that is held on the Mall insists that more people were there than the "official" estimate said and that officials were trying to deliberately downplay their HUGE turnout because they want to oppress them and their views as the "real Americans."

I still can't get over this guy and the apparent leadership status given to him by many. He's an X disc jockey with a high school education which is fine. But doesn't he appear a caricature of himself standing like a schoolmarm with his specs and pointer? I really think these folks are just looking for anyway possible to show their disapproval of the way our Country is headed and Beck just gave them an outlet. Also I would bet my left nad they were there to see Palin more than Beck.

Beck's style of delivery when speaking is lots of times embarrassingly juvenile. While speaking publicly he appears to break down with emotion, almost instantly in tears at times, then recovers in just seconds to continue with his text. His jocularity one second then breaking down in emotion the next is fake and in my opinion patronizing. People that conjure up emotion like this don't strike me as being sincere. It should be insulting to anyone listening. I know he's had a hard life, who hasn't? I lost my mom at 12 but I would never use my misfortune to play on others sympathies especially to gain their respect as a sincere public speaker. As a solid conservative the guy just makes me cringe.

You're right. I think it started with the so called "Million Man March". It appears the Park Dept was always getting criticized for their estimate so they said the hell with it.

I have been to several events on the mall where 200,00-400,00 showed up. It is a massive crowd to walk through very tightly packed together.

What is the difference say from the 20th anniversary of Eathday, the Beach Boys concerts on the mall, the pro choice rally in the 90's, the anti-war rallies at the Sylvan theater during the bush administration, and this rally?

Lawn chairs.

When you have above, say, 150,000, there is no room for people to put down a lawn chair and watch the rally comfortably. When you have those huge crowds, you have people literally standing on their coolers because their is no room. Each person doesn't take up the space of six persons by sitting in their lawn chair propping the feet up comfortably on their cooler, pigging out on Nachos and dip, complaining about immigration ruining our culture.

Also, think about it, how much space do the governement paid for scooters take up?

Metro had only about 500k riders for Saturday and that includes the Nats game with 30,688 attendance. Metrorail provided 510,000 trips on Saturday, 08/28. Previous three saturdays: 385,987; 323,997; and 335,796. So thats 250 people who rode minus the 167,500K who ride each weekend minus lets say 20K for the Nats and you have...82k for both rallies. So I say 100k max. not the 500k that Beck is pouting off.

Keep in mind church groups and NRA groups and Boy Scouts troops, etc, from across the country probably came in on buses for this thing. I, too, doubt that it is anywhere near what Beck is claiming. But I wouldn't rely solely on the Metro numbers.

Spare me. Al Franken probably spent more time than any other celebrity doing events for the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, yet he's been smeared plenty by Fox and conservatives.

Chartered Buses had to be registered and were instructed to drop off and park at RFK. the participants were told to take Metro from there. Buses were not alowed to drop off at the site.

Well, then, the Metro numbers are probably pretty accurate. I guess you would have to factor in the hotels that were walking distance from the Mall, so 100K may be about right.

Funny thing about Beck is he converted to Mormonism. Like who the fuck would do that?

So the premise is that ANY event labeled a "charitable event for troops" is acceptable. WOW! Republicans sure do have you snowed under good. (Oops, used a cocaine pun when talking about Beck, sorry)

Have fun at the NAMBLA fundraiser for the troops.

Heres the fine print from Beck's own web page, wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down at the bottom of the page (and truly in FINE print):

"This rally is compliant with IRS Rules and Regulations found in IRS publication 557 and IRS publication 4221-PC. For tax purposes a gift to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation is deductible in accordance with Internal Revenue Service's tax laws. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution. The purchase of Restoring Honor Rally merchandise is not a donation to SOWF, but all net proceeds from the sale of Restoring Honor Rally merchandise is being donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. All contributions made to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) will first be applied to the costs of the Restoring Honor Rally taking place on August 28, 2010. All contributions in excess of these costs will then be retained by the SOWF. Tax ID 52-1183585"

So, lets get real. Beck hyped SOWF and shilled for donations to 1) PAY FOR HIS OWN FUCKING RALLY FIRST and 2) let SOWF keep the leftovers (and the tshirt sales revenues..lol)

Yeah, that's some serious "support our troops" maneuvering, all right.

Keep believing the lie, Dane Bramage.

I'm waiting for the "Sarah Palin speaking fee" charge to get sussed out of the numbers--shall we all hold our breath for that little grab-fest to come to light?

LMAO...you tea-baggin sheep kill me.....

One more edit..read the fine print yourself...http://www.glennbeck.com/828

Funny. It doesn't appear to be a 501(c)3. That means the books aren't open to the public. Makes you wonder how much of the expenses include appearance fees for Beck and his guest speakers? Sarah Palin doesn't typically give speeches for free, as the Tea Party learned.

I'd say Beck is doing fine on his own.

Ripping off Thomas Payne (book), Martin Luther King (rally), and pounding the pulpit at FOX until doe-eyed tea baggers sob along with him and invest in gold coins seems like a pretty good gig. Financially, that is. Morally, not so much.

Having the balls to preach about character and honor is true hutzpah, since he has little to none of either.

He's quite the 'merican success story huh?

well, to be fair, he just clocked out of work at 4:59 and is most likely on his hellish slog of a commute back to his hovel to read the transcripts from today's Limbaugh show.

I think you can count on his head exploding in the next few hours.

But first, a hearty Dinty Moore dinner with the Missus and a few slaps for the misbehaving little RVs around the dinner table.

EDIT: whats just as interesting is the complete disappearance of Dane Bramage from the discourse. But then again, doesn't Beck come on at 5 pm?

Yeah, because Martin Luther King is the only one allowed to have rallys.

Are you saying there were teabaggers that didn't use the Metro, and walked more than they had to? I have never seen a demonstration where the majority bought LAWN Chairs to the protest. The word gluttonous comes to mind.

I mean think about it, Blacks boycotted city bus lines and walked to work for over a month in protest, Blacks MARCHED hundreds of miles in protest, Teabaggeres bring coolers, comfortable chairs with stadium cushions, and in many case,s Gov'ment paid for Huvaround scooters, to protest government spending and healthcare policies.

Glenn Beck is shamelessly wrapping himself in flag and telling people that any attacks on him are an attack on the troops and supporting the tropps while whipping white americans in a frenzy over immigration. Its bizarre that he wants to take back the civil rights movement from black people....

You've got quite the hard-on for Beck.

As I said earlier, I don't watch or listen to Beck, (or Limbaugh, Hannity, et al). I also don't agree with much of his points of view, such as abortion and immigration. I even voted for Kerry against Bush (gasp!)

Additionally, I don't have a deep seated hatred for the man, so I thought I'd check out the event. I enjoyed parts of it, and really found it interesting to see how the MSM, and even more so, the liberals, got their panties all in a wad to discredit and write half truths about the gathering. I actually thought that the Wapo did an okay job in their above the fold article, but the BS on the CNN website was deplorable. And Robert McCartney's article was a steaming pile of crap.

I'm sure Beck and his speakers took their cut, and I'm quite sure SOWF will also receive a significant amount of money. If not, I suspect they would not have agreed to the use of their name for the rally.

The fellow military retiree I went with, who is very conservative, and I were chatting about politics on the way down to the Mall. I shared with him that it isn't that I am very conservative, I just vehemently hate liberal fiscal policies, and especially dislike Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

Dig a little bit deeper than Wikipedia next time. A.D. King's death was considered suspicious by family and friends as his lungs were never filled with water. There was not an investigation and many speculated foul play. A civil rights activist, 39 years of age is found floating face down in his back yard pool one year after his brother's assassination, and there is no water in his lungs. You do the math, genius.

Also, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know there were more than 100,000 people in attendance at the event. Anyone who's been to a Big 10 football game knows what 100,000 people looks like. Furthermore, MSNBC has since stated the number at 300,000. When they quote a number for a conservative event, you can almost always guarantee they've rounded down....by a lot.

Not "quite sure" about SOWF, although, to be fair, they're a very small organization, with $5.8 million received in 2009, of which $1.1 M went to scholarships for wounded vet's kids. But if 100,000 people all bought $15 t-shirts, then SOWF would get a nice little bump. I think the SOWF has a nice mission--even as history has taught us to be very skeptical of "non-profits" who take in money via political podium-thumping.

>If not, I suspect
> they would not have agreed to the use of their

I "suspect" they'd be all over it. Even playing financial second fiddle. Even with the risk of getting not a dime, other than t-shirt money. What fledgling non-profit wouldn't take that deal?

See, here's the thing. You can HATE "leftists" with all your heart and soul. And you can embellish your arguments with all sorts of "being sure" and "suspecting". Feel free. But don't let them get in the way of the facts, even as published on Beck's own website, if you want anybody to take you seriously.

I see you've changed your tune quite a bit from above, where you were busy haranguing anybody who was skeptical of the Rally and its purpose/funding as "unamerican non-supporters of our troops" (my paraphrase).

I'm glad I was able to help.
