There are many people, such as myself who feel they DO have every right to build the mosque there or anywhere else and there is really nothing we can say or do about it. However, that doesn't mean we have to "support" the building of it.

I sure as hell wouldn't want a mosque next to my house. Nor would I want a statue of Hitler next to my house. Sure, people have the right to do just that, but no one with any integrity would truly "want" or "support" it.

There are many people that support the mosque (borderline cheering on the mosque) solely because of their right to build it. I think many feel that it's a form of racism to not support it. It isn't. Islam is NOT a race. It's a sick and twisted ideology that inevitably leaves its inhabitants in ruins, anger and poverty (which they blame on everyone but themselves).

Personally, I despise Islam and all that it stands for. Is THAT un-American? Nothing in the world is less "american" than Islam. It goes against everything we love about freedom, pets, bacon, democracy, sex, booze, porn and any other form of fun we've become so used to.

Maybe we can't stop the building of the mosque, but we also don't have to support it.
