No I think the problems is most of those listed were smart and reasoned posters, and the troll responses were just too much and they got tired of it and left.

People could also be on vacation or really busy. I'm swamped at work, so I don't have too much time right now. Of course, a lot of these troll posts and threads make for a less than enjoyable read and it gets tiresome.

I was hanging out with RestonPeace over the weekend. He said he doesn't come on here anymore because of all the porn that was getting posted awhile back, it made it hard to check the site from work so he just gave up. I'm pretty sure Margie's still around though.

Don't know where RestonPeace work at, but his workplace can control and rule its owned internet and email. If you're sitting in an office reading the site and you come across porn images just as someone is walking by, you can get in serious trouble. Cary knows this, and is pretty responsive in removing porn, but he can't be here 24/7.
Sometimes the trolls that flood the site with porn hotlink the images from porn sites, they usually get filtered by my company's firewall, but the trolls that upload the XXX images to FFXU can still be seen on any computer.

I still post quite frequently, but I have been busier than usual this summer, so there are days where I post less. That, and some Topics aren't worth a response, so I have become more selective in my old age.

I am sad that this forum has gone to "Trolls", I used to really like it because I grew up in this area and I love checking out local stuff, oh well. I still check in a couple of days a week, the Remey crypt is pretty much why I do. I'll still post on any flooding situations in my neighborhood, but, other than that, maybe not so much.

I have always like to read whats going on in here. Great forum to learn things about the area if you already didn't know. And the Remey Crypt is insterting. I did not move to Northern Virginia until 81. But nowadays to much BS on here. I only read what I am interested in. Too many ppl with thier death postings.

I have always like to read whats going on in here. Great forum to learn things about the area if you already didn't know. And the Remey Crypt is insterting.
