Too much of a pain in the ass to drive into DC, the parking, the rowdy crowd MMB tends to attract---just rather not deal with it. Tonight should be less of a pain with The English Beat playing on a Sunday night.....not as much of a headache, no 'mosh pit', none of that buffoonery that comes along with anything punk-related. And the guy whose sole job it is to dance on stage---it's a little thing called SHOWMANSHIP. Something most bands in this day and age have no sense of anymore. Sure, just show up to the gig in an ironic t-shirt and ripped blue jeans....that's COOL, right? No, these guys sweat their balls off in matching suits and ties--all FOR YOU--because IT'S A SHOW!
