Biden drained the SPR to stave off $8 diesel where available. This was a particularly bad idea since a ground war in Europe is becoming an ever growing possibility where the SPR would be critical.

Other traditional suppliers such as the Mideast and South America are becoming more unreliable as they migrate from the $ and a distrust of the U.S.

Expect summer fuels to head back towards $5/gal or more. Happy motoring!
