Hertz Rent A Car is shifting their fleet to mostly electric for the cost savings.

Hertz will also start installing fast charging stations along major rental car routes and highways. A fast charging station every 100 miles.

Two of the dumbest statements ever. I'm hoping it's fake.

Otherwise Hertz is committing suicide.

1) "for cost savings"? LMAO.

2)"Installing charging stations"? Every study done on charging stations say they are HUGE money losers for at least the first ten years unless subsidized by the gov't. Making money later is based on some massive shift to EVs that is highly unlikely to happen.

The program is launching first in Denver in partnership with Mayor Michael B. Hancock. Here’s how it’s going to play out for the Mile High City:

Hertz is going to bring up to 5,200 rental EVs to Denver for availability to Hertz customers and rideshare drivers.
It will install both Level 2 and fast chargers at Denver International Airport and at Hertz locations (but it doesn’t say how many).
The company will partner with BP Pulse to install public EV chargers in city neighborhoods.
It will share telematics from Hertz’s connected cars to inform public EV charging infrastructure planning.
It will offer summer job opportunities through the Denver Youth Employment Program.
Hertz will provide EVs, tools, and training to Montbello Career and Technical High School for students who are enrolled in its auto certificate program.
Denver’s Mayor Hancock said:

Our goal is to reduce Denver’s carbon emissions 80% by 2050, and expanding the use and availability of electric vehicles will play a major role in helping us achieve that goal.

This partnership with Hertz will provide invaluable data about where we need charging infrastructure the most, as well as provide new opportunities with this new technology to create good-paying jobs for our current and future workforce.

I'm starting a rental car company offering reliable gasoline powered transportation that won't leave you stranded and frozen to death. Plus, our cars do not damage the environment and contribute to African slavery.

Enterprise has been renting EV's for some time now. I rented a Polestar2 at the Winchester regional airport in November. It is a great car and is fast as hell.

My brother in law rented an EV out west last month because it was all they had left. Nobody wanted them and they were far more expensive. He said it suddenly stopped on the highway on day 3 and the rental car people took three hours to bring him a normal car replacement.

Winning hearts and minds one driver at a time.

To be honest, I didn't want to celebrate the bachelor party at all. But I saw limo service Hamptons https://www.ewlimo.com/ and decided to give it a try. Especially since I was very interested in a one-day wine tour in a limousine. My friends and I had a great time, we were able to enjoy the comfortable interior of the limousine, listen to loud music and drink delicious wine on the way. I advise everyone to spend bachelor parties with the help of this service.
