Libby obstructed the investigation by lying about how he learned about Plame and whom he told.
Didn't somebody even higher in the Clinton administration do something similar - oh yeah, it was Clintom himself. But that was cool, because it was only lying about christening the Oval Office via hummer from a fat girl...
Lying about outing an "undercover" operative who was something less than undercover is completely different, though she did have a businesscard indicating employment by a fictitious firm - an ironclad "cover" except for the fact that any supporting evidence of the firm's existence was completely absent, particularly on the internet. (We FFX Underground denizens are deeper undercover than that.)
But at least Clinton would have never sunk so low as to pardon any scoundrels... (Libby didn't receive a pardon, but a commuting of the incarceration portion of his sentence - he'll live with the conviction.)
