I think this can be thrown into two buckets. #1) who is surprised (politicians take care of themselves! News at 11!) and #2) who aside from the media with time to fill up cares?

This action shows a fundamental disrespect for justice and the rule of law, and it yet another reason that Bush is the worst president in the history of our nation. No one else even comes close.

Didn't somebody even higher in the Clinton administration do something similar - oh yeah, it was Clintom himself. But that was cool, because it was only lying about christening the Oval Office via hummer from a fat girl...

Lying about outing an "undercover" operative who was something less than undercover is completely different, though she did have a businesscard indicating employment by a fictitious firm - an ironclad "cover" except for the fact that any supporting evidence of the firm's existence was completely absent, particularly on the internet. (We FFX Underground denizens are deeper undercover than that.)

But at least Clinton would have never sunk so low as to pardon any scoundrels... (Libby didn't receive a pardon, but a commuting of the incarceration portion of his sentence - he'll live with the conviction.)

Clinton did his share of pardons as most presidents have done. the intent of the pardons were for cases where it was clear the person was being railroaded.

Such as a black person in the old south getting life for something a white person would not even be charged with. Of course politicians being little better than criminals themselves, they twisted the law to pardon fellow criminals and friends with bucks. It is wrong no matter who does it.

Besides how long could a guy named "Scooter" last in prison?

President Obama has taken the cake for sure!!! Without question. I feel like I was hoodwinked into voting for him and has overstepped his authority his entire presidency. Obama is the WORST president EVER, in all of American history.
Remember:
