She also minimized a callers concerns about her husband's friend making racial comments by complaining about Obama being President! Amazing that Dr. Laura scolded a caller, saying “And what I just heard from Jade is a lot of what I hear from black-think -- and it's really distressting [sic] and disturbing.†http://mediamatters.org/blog/201008120045 .

She was using an example of HBO comedians, and she was totally right. She didn't have to say it they way she did, but her point was spot-on. Her point was if black people don't want to hear that word then they should stop using it as a term of endearment with each other. Plenty of black leaders have said the same thing.
But Dr. Laura did open the call with a crappy going-in assumption that the caller was being hypersensitive. If her husband's white friends say that around her, that is clearly wrong no matter how many times Chris Rock says it during a sketch on HBO.

That was kind of my point. Dr. Laura's response really had nothing to do with what this Jade chick was asking her. I think Dave Chapelle and Paul Mooney have come out and said they won't be using the N-word anymore, so it's not like this criticism has been ignored in the black community.

She clearly had a chip on her shoulder and a point she wanted to prove, instead of answering the caller's question. "Dr." Laura is a prime example of a hypocrite and a first class bitch.

Hard to imagine Bill Cosby saying "nigger" in any kind of derogatory way. If he did say it, it was probably to criticize its use by so many black folks.

Why would you say "white guys own trucks"? If you said that to me I would look at you like you are a complete idiot. It is a logical falacy; Why single out white guys as truck owners when clearly there are many races that own trucks. Women also own trucks. To make a statement that doesn't move the conversation forward and just causes people to think you are talking for the sake of talking.
