The world was not as you describe. Maybe it never was, or maybe the "nirvana" Trump built was too fragile to take a punch. Either way, what you describe was long gone by election day, and the voters punished Trump for it.
As for today, well, Biden inherited a mess (see above). Cleaning up has been rocky, and Biden has not exactly distinguished himself, but recent indications are positive, and in fact should continue no matter how much that pisses you off.
Therefore, continue to push people away in the name of purity. We will certainly take their votes. Just don't be surprised when we get record turnout. Anger does that, and you folks heap it on yourselves. We are counting on it.
