The use of the word zombie is not unlike the use of the word Democrat.

You can have a single Democrat.

Or a herd of Democrats.

Similarly, you can have a single zombie.

Whether you missed something, or I misspoke (or miswrote, to be precise), the word "zombie" is indeed singular, referring to one zombie, while the word "zombies" refers to more than one or multiple such creatures.

This, of course, does not exclude the possibility that there are multiple Obamas, just as there were multiple Saddams (rumor has it all were hung, though in fact only one was hanged).

But, if so, this would not bear any relation to his status as a zombie (singular) (cloning is a separate case).
