You say meade excels at music, but he is at this moment posting drivel on theapricity about how much better vinyl is than cd's. You'd think if he knew half as much about music as he thinks he does that he'd be aware that (drumroll) that's called fucking distortion. The "warmness of vinyl" is distortion, that's all it is. It's not even the most musical form of distortion. It's actually kind of shitty compared to many other forms of distortion in whatever you're producing sound with because it's just white noise distortion at best and not harmonic to the music being reproduced
