Trump v. DeSantis

So, as we saw in 2020, no matter how rabid the MAGA folks are, Republicans cannot win a national election without getting a pretty good share of the RINO/Independent vote.

If, as seems likely, DeSantis primaries Trump in 2024, will they both try to out MAGA each other? Is one smart enough to realize that the more MAGA they are in the primaries, the more they push the RINO/Independents away, thereby shrinking an already finite voting pool? And if one is smart enough to realize that foaming at the mouth decreases their chance at winning in November, how can they appear to the MAGAs that they are indeed foaming at the mouth, without alienating the rational people they need to get over the top?

But what is Trump is in jail?

Then it will be Pence Desantis. Pence will surely win over DeSantis. Plus Roger Stone promised dirty tricks against DeSantis if he runs in 2024.

Good question. Pence, despite being seen for most of the Trump years as a hapless ass kissing mannequin, has over the last few weeks developed some goodwill amongst those who do not foam at the mouth. But Pence blew it with the MAGA folks on J6, and has not helped himself since with his occasional outbursts of integrity. So, while the battle lines may be clearer, the same problem remains. How does the Republican party reconcile the rational with the irrational?

Let's not get too carried away with division on our own side. The enemy still lurks among us, trying to divide us, trying to make us hate each other, trying to distract us ......

The globalist liberal pigs stole the 2020 election. It's not possible to not know that. RINOS and moderates didn't elect president Trump, AMERICANS did. Trump set a record for votes in 2020. He had way more support and I'm sure he won at least 49 states like Reagan did. It's matchmaking impossible for Biden to have won. Trump was a threat because he was doing his job and empowering the people. Now everything is turning to shit.

Personally, I think Trump is too old but he's 4 years younger than dementia ridden, shit in your pants, Biden. It's too funny that leading up to 2016 election the only thing libtards were crying about was "He's an old white male!" And like the valueless libtards do, they support an old racist white male.

If Trump runs again he'll win again but will they steal the election again just like they just did in Georgia? If Americans are able to overcome the cheating liberal scumbags, Trump better fire all the lifers and replace them with non politicians. His VP should be Mahdi.

Dems stole the election despite Trump at least nominally owning the machinery of the federal government. Now the Dems own it.

So, if you are right, it will be far easier for the Dems to steal it this time than last. As a last resort, John Eastman showed us how, and Kammy has far bigger balls than Pence. Republicans are resisting fixing that electoral vote count act. That is a huge mistake.

You'd better hope you are wrong. But first things first. Who will accuse the other of cheating first, Trump or DeSantis?

If Trump is cheated, again, there will be a Civil War that will make the last one seem mild. Remember, there are a lot of newer weapons that can create mass destruction remotely. It will be like Spy vs. Spy, but brother vs. brother.

The January 6th mostly-peaceful protest will look like a food fight compared to a real insurrection. I think if Biden is cheated in there will be a cleaning up of Democrats, like a religious cleansing.

Dementia Joe and Kackling Harris may possibly be spared, but only if they are snuck out of DC in time.

And the worst that happened was the little J6 hissy fit. Serious in concept, perhaps, but ultimately executed in a truly incompetent manner. Maybe if fearless leader had the courage to take the little walk down Pa. Ave. it would have been different, but he did not, and therefore "the steal" was a success.

Makes it hard for me to believe next time would be any different. "If you steal the entire federal government again, we will be really mad". Well, OK.

Stomping your foot on the ground, no matter how hard, will not win a civil war.

If the idea behind Jan 6th was to actually take the Capitol, then they would have taken the Capitol. Libtards get all lathered up when a few hundred hillbillies break some windows.

The closer this contest, the nastier and dirtier it will get. As of now, just about a dead heat.

The only real question is whether the cheating allegations begin before the first vote is cast.

Seems like the impending blood letting between Trump and Desantis offers a RINO candidate an opportunity to beat both. Especially in states where Dems and Independents can vote in the Republican primary. RINO may not get the nod, but could at least fuck things up for either Trump or Desantis.

I doubt either Trump or Desantis would drop out for the good of the party, and to let the other focus on the RINO.

Could be fun.

Let's say 75% of those who identify a Republican would only vote for MAGA types. That means there would be 25% left to vote for a rational, er, RINO candidate. In states where there is the possibility of cross over primary voting that number goes up to maybe 30-35%. Not enough for the RINO to win, perhaps, but enough so that the RINO could demand a lot of blowjobs of either Trump or DeSantis in exchange for an endorsement.

This could be fun.

This will be the dirtiest, most mud slinging primary campaign ever. The only question is whether there will be accusations of cheating before the first vote is even cast.

I wonder if these two paragons of civic virtue will be able to set aside their differences at the end of the primaries, for the good of the party. If they don't, Joe Biden gets elected for four more years.

Stay tuned
