#2: Is the $60 Billion in aid too low a number? Yes. (Though inflation adjusted may not have been the original writer's inent.)
However, what in the statements there defended liberals giving the Taliban something?
Answer = nothing.
Probable cause for a response like that? A person who cannot reason will turn to just attacking the person.
