Karen Leiser is a quite good musician. She had aspirations of joining up with a local band from Rockville and even followed them around as a groupie in hopes of scoring a music audition.

The Great Meade Skelton accompanied by Karen Leiser on keyboard and Sylvanna Bocook on tambourine would make for top-tier entertainment. They might even get a slot at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival

they really didn't have security, usually they have burly guys posted at the front of the stage. Didn't see any. Meade's fans are a great peaceful bunch, not like Nirvana fans. I give the whole event a 9 out of 10. 10 being the highest. number of Black and Latinos also. all inclusive. Finally an event you can take family to and not worry about violence. I did smell the sweet smell of marijuana though. That was a turn off.

I get this way over Nanci Griffith. Over the weekend was the first anniversary of her death. Grammy winner sold-out world tours and still few have heard of her.
