Unless you go out of your way to handpick these unfortunate individuals, Meade isn't going to look so young in a room full of 20-year-olds...

This will be especially true on the off chance he loses weight!

Tom selleck was born in 1945. He was 35 years old in 1980 when magnum pi came out which was his big breakout role and is what most would think of as their youngest mental image of tom selleck. So not only does your comparison make 0 sense because meade with or without a stache would look nothing like tom selleck... but he wasnt even "young" when he was a household name, he was fucking middle aged

Would look maybe just slightly like a severely overweight version of old man tom selleck in that movie "in and out" where he was gay and made out with dudes. I could totally see a resemblance there... if I squint hard enough, and just try to only focus on the gayness of it all.
