Her knowing she the conversation was being recorded definitely makes me see this as her setting him up. Not that these aren't things he has said to her and that they aren't reprehensible, but the way she reacts in the recordings is not genuine. She could very well be a gold-digging bitch c*nt whore and he is rightfully angry at her, even if more than a bit salty with the language, and who knows what she might have said in response if she didn't know she was being recorded, not to mention what she said in other past conversations.

No doubt that she was setting him up. All the things you say about what she 'could' be, could be true.

What these tapes show is that Mel is a psycho. I find myself in a very difficult position trying to imagine what she could have possibly said (if it was edited) that would justifiably elicit such a reaction.

The good news is Mel has provided sound bytes and phrases that will live forever.
