Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
I've been driving for Lyft and DoorDash for a couple of years. I've been able to keep tabs on Basl on the Lyft app. Sometimes I hang out in Varina as a Lyft driver just so I can accept his ride request and tell the police he was stalking me.
I know he's seen me driving by his house but if the police ever stop me I'll be like "I'm not watching him and stalking him I'm driving for my job."

Oh Michael. You are so stupid. Putting your Lyft profile into "driver view" and then covering up your private information is VERY obvious.
If this were anyone else BUT you, you'd have no reason to black out any of the information.
The part he blocked out is where it says "View as rider" or "View as driver". He blacked it out so you couldn't see that he's viewing his OWN profile as a driver.
No..he doesn't have it in driver view. He has it on his own profile but did black out the view as driver part because it would have given him away that it's him posting his own profile, instead of a driver.

Hey basl! Can you give us some more ammo and information about yourself so we can use it against you? What you've provided here is going to be cause for great fun!
You of all people should know better than to post..ANYTHING about yourself here.

Hey idiot. We know your four eyed faggot ass is completely blind so you couldn't see the obvious colored out mark you made in the pic, so I lightened it up for you. There it is, clear as day!

No one cares about Eesh and the stalker poster who wants to suck his cock. We want to listen to Meade’s new music.
Lyft sux. They don't pay bonuses & they take trips away from you & give them to somebody else. They also take the trip you accepted away & give you a crappy trip instead.

Are you so retarded that you can't figure out that's an old pic? Do you really think someone would use a pic of them with all those tattoos on their face?
No worries. You'll see all the new tats he has when his mugshot comes out.

I'm trying to figure out how stupid of a bitch do you have to be to not know you're replying to Michael Basl right now...
And no worries. He's been provoked into doing more stupid shit. Like, posting his own Lyft profile and then blacking out information, thus proving it's him posting.
Every post from this name is a new violation of protective order according to the police/magistrate. Luckily he's posted his protective order holder's pictures from this name dozens of times.
The felonies keep racking up and the police will keep knocking!

eesh is a very smart guy (sarcasm) he just didn't think you were smarter
I mean all these warrants. He drives for lyft, they know his address, where he hangs out, yet he walks free. Worry about your own case Peep. Gee why did you leave Prince Willy? Get a little too warm for you? Lynn finally fed up with your childish antics? Afraid you would end up twitching to death like daddy? You probably still will because you can't help yourself. It's in your DNA. How is Nicole? Such a nice young lady ruined just by knowing you. Still trying to cunt punch your sister? I mean you parallel Basl in your life choices. Both destined to die destitute and alone. You feed off drama and chaos. Take your meds and repent.

The thing about Lyft is you see the name when you first see the request. If the name's T'Kwonntay or Shaneekwah, you just don't accept it. The rider can post a photo if they want, so if you see they're black, just don't take it .
Names like Thomas or Joseph are a tossup. They might be black, they might not . Also, don't accept requests in the ghetto. You'll avoid most blacks like that. Every once in a while, you get stuck. You also want to avoid hospitals & clinics. A lot of times, those are rides for patients on the clinic or hospital's dime. Lots of those go to the ghetto. Even when it says you're only supposed to take them from clinic to home, once you get a little ways away, they suddenly want you to be their chauffeur for the rest of the day on the clinic's dime. Even though you told them you're not allowed to when you picked them up. It's better to just avoid it altogether.
Uber's a little harder. You don't get to see the name until you accept the request. If it's Deonndray or Lasheekwa, of course you cancel . On both of them, you could drive by slow & see if they're black. If they are, keep going. Sometimes, though, they report you for skrimmuhnayshunn & prejjidiss & Uber & Lyft always believe them so you get deactivated. Also, if you cancel too many requests after you accept them, Uber & Lyft both get mad at you & threaten to deactivate you . If you don't pay no attention to the threat, they actually do deactivate you.

Look at those nasty ass bags under his eyes and fucked up eyebrows!
What else sux about Lyft is the switcheroo. You accept a trip, then they switch you to 1 you wouldn't of accepted. If you cancel this trip you had no choice about, they count it towards deactivation. Then, sometimes they take a trip away from you that you accepted & just give it to somebody else.
Lyft really sux. Worse than Uber. You got to suck real bad to suck worse than Uber.

Thanks for this info.
What happens if you drive them (the blacks) to a “smash and grab” ??
Are you obligated to wait the 30 to 60 seconds while they run into CVS or Louis Vuitton?? Will Lyft deactivate you if you wait or don’t wait??

You're welcome.
Technically, you don't have to. What you do is insist everybody gets out at the stop &: takes everything with them. Once they're inside CVS, you end the trip & GTFO. You got to be careful, though, b|c blacks will send in a false report of "skrimmuhnayshunn" & you get deactivated no questions asked.
You can refuse as many trips as you want & they can't do anything to you. It's when you cancel them after you accept them they get pissed.
Another crummy thing Lyft does is the switcheroo. After they've offered you 10 crappy trips you refused, they finally offer you 1 you can actually take, so you accept it. While you're going to get it, they take that 1 away & substitute a crappy trip you never would of taken. But you don't get no choice to accept or refuse that trip. You're supposed to get a choice. If you cancel the switcheroo trip, it counts against you.
Another thing they do is just take a trip away & give it to another driver but give you ZERO.
Lyft really sux. Bad. You're better off, but not a lot better driving Uber.

That's before expenses. The standard milage
cost is about 10 cents / mile above the rate
that Lyft is paying you. Also, Lyft is only
paying a fraction of your miles anyway,
because you don't get paid for the miles
traveling to the pickup. Combined with other
overhead, you're making $3/hour or less.
That's not counting (a) trips on which you
actually lose money, which happens a lot.
Because the trip was shorter than you drove
just to get to the pickup locatio.
And (b) None of this accounts for the
inflated gas prices we have this year.
You're either losing money, or at best
making $2.30/hour.
You think you're "making money", but you
are just looking at the amount you are
getting paid. You are actually losing money.
This has been explained many times in
economic analysis (researchers studying
the gig workers) specifically looking
at Uber/Lyft.
I don't know about Doordash and the other
food delivey services. I have to imagine
that they are screwing drivers just the
same if not worse. They are also screwing
the restaurants, of course.
And to answer the other question:
YES.
You have to pick up everyone.
You do not in fact get a choice
in this matter.
The way it works is this. You are given a
general distance ("Pickup about 3 miles
away".) It does not tell you where the
pickup is exactly, nor anything about
where it is goimg or how long a trip.
At this point, you have to ACCEPT/DECLINE
the ride. If you decline, it is a black
mark against you. If you decline a lot,
they will simply stop offering you jobs.
(They used to just automatically permanently
fire your ass, if you declined a few times
in a row. But the court said that made them
look like employer/employee so they changed
it to just ersatz fire you by just not
offering any jobs. Sometimes they tell you
they are putting you in time-out for a
few hours. Sometimes they just go quiet.)
Anyway, once you ACCEPT the job, it gives
you the pickup address. Whem you arrive
and the passenger is in the vehicle,
it then tells you the destination.
If you fail to pick the person up and
you cancel the ride, you are in trouble,
and can be totally fired rather quickly.
By the way, I hope you are also paying the
extra $200/month for the commercial rider
on top of your normal car insurance bill.
Because otherwise, if you are ever in an
accident, your insurance company will say
that you were operating illegally and your
coverage was null and void the whole time.
They will also do that if the vehicle has
EVER been used for "ride-share". In fact,
the first question they ask nowadays when
you call the insurance company is, "Has
this vehicle EVER been used for ride-share?"
They don't care if the accident was not on
an Uber/Lyft trip. Or if you only drove for
Uber for two months, three years ago.
Your insurance is permanently nullified the
first time you did an Uber/Lyft. That's
because you lied to them about which
liability pool you belonged in.
Technically, you could be ccharged with
criminal fraud. And if you lie to them,
they will bring charges. But if you admit
you've been doing rideshare, they will let
you off the hook by just saying you never
had insurance in the first place.
And, yes, they will find out!
Enjoy the occasional drunk who will throw
up in your car, and get it in places which
cannot be cleaned. Usually, having to remove
and rebuilt the doors because they tried
to throw up out the window and it got down
in the the mechanism.
And the people who will actually take out
a knife and cut the upholstry.
And the dogs and shit who will hair up the
car. And the UNBELIEVABLE smells you will
experience from certain (women) passengers.
And the occasional drunk (or crazy nigger
wannabe gangbanger) who will physically
assault you. You know you're not allowed
to carry any weapons or sprays or anything
in the vehicle when driving ride-share, right?
You're going to have to pick them all up. Sometimes they will insist on riding up front, which is indeed a guaranteed part of the service.
Your car will be trashed in no time.
I drove Uber and Lyft for a while, before I realized how idiotic it is.

I have to give gratitude for you helping get eesh arrested! How does it feel? He thought he was being such a smart ass impersonating his latest victim and posting his own lyft account here, now he has to go to court and try to lie his way out of it.
I haven't tried working for Lyft by myself, but one of my friends has been working there for several months already. He told me that this is a good side hustle for him.

Don't drive for Lyft. Most of the riders are ghetto. They try to make you go long distances to pick up crappy rides. Their ghetto riders are real demanding & send in fake complaints about you. Even if you got a dashcam, Lyft won't look at it. Uber sucks. It does. It's a terrible co. to work for. Lyft is even worse. You really got to be bad to be worse than Uber, but Lyft has done it.
