How do you charge the kid as an adult, then charge the parents as a responsible party? If the kid's an adult, he's an adult, he needs no guardians. Parents will walk. Sheriff's Dept messing up the whole case,

The parents were not charged with murder. They were charged with manslaughter. Manslaughter is a homicide but by definition it is not murder.
If you understand the law it makes sense that Baldwin has not been charged with homicide to date. Baldwin was using a weapon in a highly controlled environment. Because of this he was entitled to believe that the people who were responsible for making certain the weapon did not pose a danger to others had done their job. That presumption doesn't exist when it is a firearm lying around the house, possibly loaded.
The questionable aspect isn't that the parents were charged. It is that the parents were charged with manslaughter. Manslaughter presupposes that the killing was either accidental or was done without malice.

There is a huge constitutional difference between "negligent acts" outside one's home with firearms and actions that take place inside one's home when arms are lawfully kept for self-defense of the family . The parents shot no one nor told the son to kill anyone , nor were any laws in place to require the gun to be locked up where it could not be used for lawful self-defense the son unlawfully used their firearm to kill
If you leave a gun in a public place negligently you can be held accountable criminally, But you are free to keep your gun in your own home where you want it to be for use in your self defense within reason . A loaded gun left in a babys crib or childs playpen or room is not within reason, where the parents had it was
How many sharp objects poisons and illegal drugs do you have that can kill someone in your filthy garbage strewn rooms Liberals/leftists
Democrats care less about the US constitution unless they can find words in it that suit their purpose, the rest they twist distort and destroy
