The hot Scottish Rose Leslie, 34, stars in the new BBC crime drama Vigil. She plays a detective investigating a murder government cover up. The first three episodes are pretty well done. No word on US distribution, but keen an eye out for it.

Rose leaving for filming on location on an in-service Royal Navy nuclear submarine. Vigil is the best TV Detective series to come along in years. If you can get BBC One or BBC IPlayer, go watch Vigil.

Vigil is awesome. It is about a murder aboard a stealth nuclear sub on patrol around England and Scotland. They can only receive messages, only send messages in an emergency, they can only surface in an emergency. An investigator gets aboard the ship after a murder takes place, and the sub keeps on its secret patrol while possibly being tailed by a Russian sub.

Vigil is a great murder mystery. Politics, back stories, spies, Rose Leslie. When it comes to your side of the pond, check it out.
