The measure of a person’s value can’t and shouldn’t be summed up by how much economic value you they generate. It’s ass backwards. I wouldn’t consider a starving artist who’s working as an art teacher in an elementary school while plying their craft on the side and generally doing what they love as a loser.
A person who’s making $185K a year as an attorney who hates their job and wishes they did something else, I would be more keen to think of as “losing” cause they aren’t doing something they are interested in. Though I’d never consider someone a “loser” based off what they do since I’m not a asshole. People who spend their free time ridiculing others on the internet? Big time loser. They are in the same company as Michael Josef Basl or Meade Skelton.

I never missed one day of work cause of the pandemic but if I had I would have found another job right away. In my family we don't take government handouts EVER!
