Every time a car leaks freon it's 2 lb. of freon in the atmosphere. WHUT? didn't they threaten you about releasing a little peep from a hose ?? 90% of AC failsures are from TOTAL LOSSES OF FREON - that's pounds at a time of freon

All the new refrigeration equipment is going to R-290 which is propane. It has no ozone depletion potential and you can legally vent it if need be. The shit works great and the industry should have done this years ago.
