No idea, but that style of rifle is the most
popular gun in the USA. The Supreme Court even
reasoned that you can't outlaw such guns, BECAUSE
they are the most common.
For about 10 years, those kinds of guns were made
illegal "Assault Weapon" Ban. It had no beneficial
effect (crime and gun crime went up) and so nobody
wanted to renew that law. Now the Democats are going
to try again.
Good luck with that....

Being a dedicated hunter, I bought one of those Bushmasters back in the day after hearing about it on the nightly news dropping a buck at over one hundred yards.
