They're both from Virginia so I use this comparison.
But listen to Meade and then listen to Elliott. Whos voice is more distinctive? Who has more personality in their singing? Who has more power?
The answer clearly is Meade.
Why Eliott Yamin became a star is just the luck of the draw, I guess.

Robert claimed that his family was from Richmond but that he was born in Loudon county. Same for Skelton.
Skelton's blog includes phrases like "hipster" and "i-talian" as well as the "You're Very Richmond If" list that Robert posted in a different thread. Skelton also claims that he probably has more "blue blood" than the queen of England which ties in well with Robert's feelings about "old money" etc.
In addition, the picture of his mother (Oct 9, 2006) looks like it probably matches the pictures Robert posted on fairfaxunderground.

Okay, I'd like to revise my previous post. I stick with the claim that Meade Skelton = Robert = MusicLover VA. In fact, upon reading more of the blog I have found mentions of:
Eliott Yamin (something about not liking to perform with him because the girls like Yamin better)
The hipster handbook
Comparing girls to his mother
Loving records
Self Promotion (which caused problems on Richmond forums)
However, I've decided that the blog isn't at all amusing. It is simply sad.
