Does T-Mobile drug test?

Got a call back from them and I'm just curious if they drug test. Anyone know? I've found yes and no's online so I figured it depends on the state or area? Anyone from around here that work or have worked or knows someone who works at a T-mobile locally and did they drug test? Thanks!

What branch of T-Mobile are you talking about? Sales/retail? I'd find it hard to believe that they'd test if you're at a kiosk/store selling phones.

If you have access to high end phones they test.

Kiosk on your own, they test.

Store cashier only, maybe not. Store specialist or manager, yes.

You should get a job at Starbucks. They don't drug test for any positions because everyone who works there uses drugs... i know this from experience. btw don't get coffee from the Fair Lakes Starbucks... Mold in the ice machine.. hahaha no joke but still funny.

Alicia,

Since you received a call back from them and it's very hard to find jobs these days I'd go for it even if you aren't sure weather they test or not. If they do drug test you and you fail the wost that will happen is you don't get the job. If you never go in because you are afraid they will test then you'll never have a chance at the job anyways.

If you fail they wont tell anyone b/c of liability issues, they probably wont even tell you that you failed. just that you "aren't qualified to work there."

They do drug test, I believe from LABCORP, or what not... I think they could be doing swab tests now too... "On the spot test" of course this measure of testing would only get the testers on the past 3-5 days you smoked or what not. Not very effective to catch regular users...

The earlier post sounds very true. Duron paint stores do test. Then people end up working there for 3 weeks then get fired aftes testing positive on drug usage. They test you after you are already working. Not sure ab out the legality of testing you after you are hire. They should say we test for drugs and we would fire you if you show a positive result. They can only test you if you are hire.

I'm confused...

so... in order to get a job at T-Mobile, you'll have to let them
do a drug test on you? what kind of drugs do they give you?
I thought T-Mobile was a cell phone company, not a pharmaceutical
research company? what if the drugs they test on you end up giving
you weird side effects? IMHO, you should be paid if they do drug
testing on you...

Most wireless companies do drug tests now except for smaller companies. There is a good reason for this. You have access to high end phones as someone else posted here but thats not the most important reason. You take people's personal information such as Social Security number, Identification cards, phone number, address etc. Anyone doing drugs is much more likely to steal someone's identity.

I was valedictorian. Iv traveled the world with an elite circus. I currently hold 2 world records and fight for my third in my free time, which isn't much since I'm training for the 2016 Rio Olympics in the saber. I smoke pot everyday. So to people who think drugs will hold you back, go suck a dick then return to your boring home with your average wife and think of me high as a kite living a life you can barely dream of. Oh and t-mobile only drug test upon suspicion since the high turn over rate makes it hard to keep call centers staffed.

Yes,T Mobile does drug test. I actually work for the company so I know. They do a urine test within 48 hours of offering you a contengency offer, which depends on if you pass the drug screen, background screen, etc.
