In a letter to George Orwell about Nineteen Eighty-Four, Huxley wrote "Whether in actual fact the policy of the boot-on-the-face can go on indefinitely seems doubtful. An interesting argument. Huxley is pretty out there in sci-fi land though. Orwell unfortunately pretty spot on about the mentality of these people.
