Nothing gives me more satisfaction than going out to a nice restaurant and tipping the waitress the exact amount of my luxurious dinner. I do the same for my house cleaner. The company that she works for gets paid $250 and I also give her a $250 tip! Once the house is cleaned, I scoot off to the marina for a jaunt on my yacht! Yes, the Captain and his crew also get healthy tips! Sharing money is what makes the world go around and the economy flourish!

My ex approached me last fall about going in with her on a beach house that we could use and let the kids use. I asked her wouldn't it be better if we just rented. Let someone else deal with the maintenance. Let someone else deal with paying the taxes. Don't get tied to one location when better ones are available. Beach property can be a pain in the ass to own. It is easier to just give the kids extra cash and file the gift tax return than to buy a place where they can hang out.

Maybe I would feel differently if my net worth was in the upper eight figures, but I am not complaining.

Don't get used to it. Under the Biden regime, taxes will increase a minimum of 33% across the board. I didn't grow up with money, but I quickly learned how to make it, then make my money multiply. You should look for ways to produce your own passive income. Look it up if you don't know what that is.

I will never have to work for anyone else the rest of my life. I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to craft my financial life this way. I worked very hard and took a few chances to get where I'm at now. I take pride in knowing that I never took advantage of anyone, but I have offered people solutions when they've been in dire situations!

I am on a business trip (GSA contract) in the VA beach area and one of the generals I met with invited me to his house in Sandbridge. I liked it so much that I bought a house there. While it's not ocean front you can see the ocean, it has a pool, hot tub, sauna and a crows nest deck. The place is sweet. I paid $600k cash for it that I made from the republican controlled stock market. Holy fuck! 18,000 are you fucking kidding me!?!?!?
