You need to check your sources. Assuming Republicans win all remaining undecided and runoff races the Democrats will have a 4 seat lead. The 1930 elections returned 218 Republican, 2016 Democrats and 1 third party. Due to post election deaths the House was controlled by the Democrats 219 to 212 within a year. Meanwhile the 1875 House was not particularly close.
