If COVID 19 is a hoax then why is trump announcing vaccines now?

Trump didn't discover these vaccines and neither did Biden.

The scientists discovered the vaccines and only an idiot would credit either one of those politicians with it.

I'm a Dem and I have to admit the timing of the vaccine news two after Biden is certified the winner is suspicious.
