Idiots like this want to claim parts of the American southwest as part of Mexico because an interim Mexican government, which was what remained after the U.S. defeated Mexico during the Mexican American War, negotiated away the land in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Apparently, in a previous treaty with Spain, the U.S. government agreed to end all claims to that land, but when Mexico went to war with the U.S. over Texas, we kicked their ass so badly that we said "fuck that last treaty."

All I can say is, "That was then, this in now, and tough shit."

What a lot of people forget regarding Texas as well, is that it was also the Mexican populace of it (ie, Tejanos) that wanted to be a part of the U.S., instead of Mexico.

Which Mexicians are saying they treat other so well? Are you of the opinion that people have no right to complain about their situation in this country? How Mexicans are treated in Mexico has no baring on how they should be treated here.
