Regardless of the outcome of the election, at least 40% of Americans will be convinced that it is an absolute disaster for the country.
Due primarily to the stock market and real estate the net wealth of the top 10% wealthiest Americans will increase, while the net income for the bottom 1/3 of Americans will have decreased from 2019.
We still won't have a widely available vaccine for covid by the end of the year. Medical science will confirm that covid has long term effects not found in most flu sufferers, and conservatives will deny it.
With no interleague play there will be more disputes than usual about which teams should be invited to participate in the college football championship.
The Washington Football Team will not make it to the Super Bowl. (I know, shocker.)
People will start to realize that one virtue of the DC area's traffic congestion was that the congestion limited the ability of people to drive like assholes.
Longer term. By 2023 the School Board will give in to public pressure and rename W.T. Woodson. Whatever name they pick will be lame. By 2025 there will be a winery in Greenland.
