We are getting close to that blessed day. We will once again try to get Fairfax to fly our flag at the government Centre in honour of our Independence day.

Unfortunately, our request has been denied for this year to fly our flag. But the festivities would continue and we would try it for next year.

The country is a haven for pirates, terrorists, kidnappers, rapists, and torturers.
It should be invaded and colonized. All local leaders should be deposed. All pirates should be publicly hung.
The pirate bases should be destroyed with napalm, and piracy treated as a capital offense.
Just ask the people who have been held prisoner. "Raped and abused" don't begin to describe it. These people are animals who do not deserve their own country. They make the rest of Africa look bad.

As u all know by now, the Somali independence day is just around the corner, unfortunately, no local government wants to host or celebrate our independence day with us......so we have to do it ourselves.

Hello folks. As you are aware now, we are getting close to 1st of July, which is the Somali Independence day. Our request to host this day in Fairfax county was denied (once again). So the Somali community in Northern VA has decided to host a private, low key celebration in honour of 1st of July.
We have invited people from all walks of life and all from the northern VA. We are also hoping to invite someone from the Trump adminstration to come join us and celebrate with the Somali-American community.
Happy 1st and 4th of July to everyone.
