Anyone else dealt with these kinds of douchebags? They are usually men who want to act like they have more testosterone than they actually do, so they talk with a voice that sounds like it is forced to be deeper than it actually is. They also over-articulate their words when pronouncing them.

I ran into one a few days ago. Hadn't dealt with one in a while.

I don't know about a deeper voice, but I know some folks who talk differently when they're in a different area. Some of my fam is from NY/North Jersey, and yeah, you don't really talk in the same manner up there that you do down here, so it's normal to speak differently up there when you're used to it. Hell, when I spend enough time up there, I start to sound like a native myself. Some lady UpState, thought I was from Brooklyn lol.

I don't come across it very often. Maybe once every seven or eight years. But when it happens, it annoys the shit out of me. It's like somebody trying to do a radio DJ voice, but they aren't a radio DJ.

I know the kind of voice you are talking about and the kind of personalities that have them. It is extremely funny when people lie this get scared or feel threatened and "the bitch comes out of them" Their voice will crack or rise several octaves and they will lose that measured tone of cool they work on so hard.

There's a black anchorman on channel 7 or 9 that sounds utterly ridiculous. I can't help but wonder if people like him and Tom Keiron talk like that when they get home. I always imagine them saying mundane shit like

"hi honey, what's for dinner?" or when they're fucking their wives, " yeah, that's good, suck harder".

I over-articulate, but I dont intend to.

Friends make fun of me for sounding like the stereotypical white guy.
