Washington should have drafted Crosby and or Malkin. Once Again the Capitals are the laughing stock of the NHL.

It was more than OV. The whole team just looked sloppy. Even non-hockey fans were commenting on that last night. Dropped sticks, missed passes, pucks between the legs... they just looked awkward.

Granted, I can't play hockey at all and have no room to criticize, but...

The problem was that Montreal realized they didn't need much offense to beat Mike Green, so they kept a lot of guys back by their net, keeping the Caps away as much as possible and waiting for their chance for a Habs wing or center to hit a goal. Almost every attempt by the Caps last night was a slap-shot through two or three defenders.

This is what happens when you have a one-dimensional team. The Caps need a stouter defense for the playoffs...one that will keep them in a game those nights when the offense doesn't show up, like last night. I don't give a fuck how many goals Mike Green scores in a season. How many goals does he keep from BEING scored, that's what fucking matters!

It's called "choking". We should all be familiar with this term when discussing the Caps. It happens every time they make the playoffs.

They continually fold under stress. Last night the stress was intense, so they never had a chance.

If they keep Mike Vagine they need to change him to a winger. That second goal montreal scored was due entirely to his terrible attempt at defense. Bring in someone who is gonna play d, not worry about scoring, and not take the most retarded pennalties. You can't blame OV, Halak was just redick. As for Crosby, screw him. If you're a true Caps fan, then you'd never even dare suggest that we should've taken him. Ovechkin is the tougher of the two, and any loss is not something you can solely blame upon an individual person anyhow.

being a great team during the regular season who has been bounced THREE TIMES IN THE FIRST or SECOND round of the playoffs consecutively the last three years IS SOMETHING TO MOCK! Dont think it wont be brought up Constantly next year by opponents.

Crosby has elevated the play of his team mates. Thus he wins Olympic gold and NHL championships. It is a team sport BUT one game breaking player can elevate his team mates as well as have outstanding play. Crosby excels at both Alex excels at making alex look good.
