We should rename Truscott Hall at the Army War College. The Hall is named after Lucien Truscott IV's grandfather, Lucien Truscott Jr. In the post WW1 era Truscott conspired with civil officials to prevent wives of U.S. Servicemen from exercising their right to vote. Later on Truscott bragged about it in his memoirs "The Twilight of the U.S. Cavalry".

At least what Jefferson did was legal when he did it. What Truscott did was not.

Also while we are casting stones, will Lucien Truscott IV be reimbursing the U.S. for the cost of his military education at West Point since he resigned his commission after 13 months service rather than serving in Vietnam?

It’s fuckin hilarious to see white people so triggered over the fact their racist and classist statues and monuments are coming down. It’s literally must see tv.
