Not a fan of the Confederacy but we're talking about the largest bas-relief sculpture in the world. All the book burning in the world is not going to change the amazing accomplishment Stone Mountain is.

Should Germany have kept statues of Hitler even with they were "amazing accomplishments"?
Blow it up. Not only does it glorify racism, it marred a natural wonder irrevocably. Stone Mountain was an "amazing accomplishment of nature, and it didn't need man hacking it up for some bullshit "heritage".

Never looked at it that way but you're right. Like graffiti even worse as it is carved. Need to sandblast it not blow it up though. The poetic justice would be carving Abraham Lincoln or John Brown likeness on it.

Reagan and Trump will no doubt eventually get their faces on Mt Rushmore, we all know that. It would be a very nice gesture to have Trump's profile on Stone Mountain. Just erase the Rebels and put Trump there, can;t be that much money.
