I watched it. I didn't see her encouraging anyone to do anything, but her point is that after all these police brutality cases and the ensuing peaceful protests, they are no further along in preventing it.
If all the gun toting white racists could just swap positions and imagine if the tables were turned and they were being stalked by nosey neighbors who always thought you were just there to steal stuff.
Imagine whenever you get pulled over, you get searched for drugs, money and guns and hope the cops don't beat you up or kill you. Now imagine this going on for 50-60 years.
It's will take many generations for black folk in this country to catch up with all the things white people have taken for granted. For example, White folks have been receiving proper educations going back to the Roman Empire, whereas most black folk were kidnapped from a far less advanced Africa and purposefully kept uneducated as slaves until 1863. It was another 104 years until they got the right to vote. Segregation didn't even end until 1967, which means black folks couldn't even attend public schools before that and most still lived in ghettos as a result.
Give black folks a chance to catch up. They've only had 50 years (2 generations) vs 2020 years for white people. Help them along, instead of denying them opportunities and setting the whole country back.
