Eric Harris: officers detected eric had been SELLING WEAPONS to criminals who had used them to kill citizens in the town. officers set up and sting and recorded Harris attempting to illegally sell a gun to police, and arrest occurred. the "cop" in this case is 73 years old - any resistance by a 44 yr old huge black male was not resistance that "would be fair to a senior citizen to tolerate"
the officer claimed "he would have used a tazer were things more advantageous to a 73 yr old man arresting a 44 yr old large black brute facing weapons charges"
I am on the officer's side. Selling illegal arms to criminals, while the law says not to (meaning, honest people are not allowed to) - is very bad - it got people killed.
The officer did the town a favor. The perp - got exactly the trouble he was selling in the town.
