Yes. He nearly killed the Bond franchise with his so-so acting and diva act behind the scenes. That's why they had to bring Sean Connery back for the less-than-stellar Diamonds Are Forever.

I had such low expectations the first time I saw it, I actually liked it. However, my favorite part was when Bond was making copies of secret documents and he had a crane bring up a photo copier into the office to do it. Because, you know, it's not like microfilm wasn't more established or easier to use at the time.

The last few James Bonds have had a LOT of product placement in them, especially with Ford. It's a shame about MGM though, Daniel Craig is a perfect fit for the Bond character.

The Bond films pioneered that shit. If you watch "Man with the Golden Gun" the "cool car" isn't an Aston Martin, a BMW or a Jaguar. It's a fucking AMC Hornet! Like that helped sell more Gremlins.

Avatar actor Sam Worthington has been tipped to become the next 007 in the wake of news that the 23rd Bond film has been placed on indefinite hold.

Bookmaker William Hill has made the 33-year-old 5/2 favourite to take over the role should Daniel Craig not return for his third instalment in the series.

British actor Christian Bale is 7/1 to take on the highly coveted role -

as is Hollywood star Will Smith.

"In development" for a few years now is a James Bond/Hannibal the Cannibal movie. Two of MGMs biggest franchises one one screen.

I have heard the screenplays submitted were actually pretty good.
