It would be interesting to see the breakout of people kicked out vs strategically defaulted.

Some are simply not paying primary mortgages, knowing that the banks are backed up with paperwork and will not actually get you thrown out for 12-18 months. Those people are paying down credit cards and home equity loans to clear them off for the next debt run-up.
This is why bank reform should include lending standards reform, where a housing loan requires 20% down no matter what the loan type.

Yes the CC is alive and well. He makes comments that are inappropriate. So far has not touched anyone. He is not the reason we all go there. It's because of the coaching. They are the best! That's why we put up with the obnoxious BC and the CC. The coaches are what makes the team what they are. As for me, I would go to anywhere those coaches go as long as my daughter does gym.
i agree with GymMom. So far, the CC has not touched anyone. Let's be thankful for that.

Yeah, I'm a little confused why someone can walk away from hundred of thousands of dollars' worth of mortgage loan and not have the banks go after them for more assets after they finally sell the house and the amount owed is more than what they could get for the house.

Maybe it's because the banks are as much to blame for their situation as they are...and it wouldnt make good PR to be driving people into the poor house.
