Cary started this site in 2005 to increase communication between residents of Fairfax and Northern Virginia as a whole.

What have you done, as far as contribute to this site? Have you posted important, relevant news that assists residents or have you been content just to be a mere lurker?

What about off-topic? Have you made anyone laugh, cry, think? What will your legacy be?

This is a good point. The question shouldn't be "What have you done for Fairfax Underground?" The question should be "What has Fairfax Underground done for you?"

For me, it's made me a better man. I've found that I am more loving in my relationships. I care more for the people around me. I am more generous in bed and I now take time to appreciate the little things in life. Most important of all, FFU helped me find Jesus.

I've created a new man.

It was with great trepidation that I agreed to accept eesh as a new patient. He was crude and rude and surly. He displayed an unhealthy interest in pornography of the most vile kind. The constant viewing of this material prevented the development of a normal sex drive, making relations with actual women difficult.

I took him on a journey, a long journey. I began his reeducation with simple flash cards, holding up two cards at a time, asking eesh to point to the picture that he found more sexually arousing. Initially, he would pick a Baboon over a normal woman, if the Baboon was engaged in aberrant sexual behavior. Slowly, after many "fuck you" outbursts from eesh, along with constant tweaking of his Valium IV, eesh began to change. He was picking the flash cards displaying women more and more often and his tantrums slowly abated.

We proceeded to the hands-on section of his treatment plan and after a few false starts, eesh was soon up and running. Although, at times needing to be slowed down, his eagerness to learn was admirable. Eventually he was able to navigate smoothly and with confidence, without any instruction or coaching on my part.

So, without further ado, I would now like to present to you.... eesh, or should I say, the new eesh, a new man.

Go ahead, stand up eesh. You deserve a hand.

Before I release him into the general population, two ladies from FFXU have kindly agreed to give the new eesh a test drive and complete inspection.

Spunky and Elle..... he's all yours for the next 72 hours. Have fun girls.

Oh get over yourself already. The site doesn't have to be serious all the time.

THere have been a number of useful posts and informative topics posted, but just like the main stream media, serious and boring does not bring users. Funny, stupid and idiotic posts do. Mainstream media highlights idiots like Kate Goslin or Paris Hilton to bring viewers/readers. FU has Gravis, Vince, and the other prolific posters of useless trivia and commentary to bring users to the site. (Thank you to all of you, btw)

Our culture encourages this behavior and rewards it. It does not reward or encourage responsible posts/news. Just look at reality tv for more proof. You know who Kate Goslin and Paris Hilton are, don't you? Do you know who the head of the Commerce Department is? Without looking it up? I doubt it. The first two have no apparent talent or use while the later is at least someone of importance to the country.
