Chapter 1 - Nepenthe

Little man? Why must you hit me below the belt? Besides, that's not something the Candyman would say... I'm wondering... Are you even trying?
[Below the belt, wink wink wink... Anything?]

You started it :-P!! I'm not the one who started quoting Willy Wonka, that was you! No wonder your girl is all up on me in the chatrooms... and so is your mom.

I'd prefer a river--NAY--a veritable Niagara of chocolate... and for you to shut your boy-loving face!
[Not really, babe... Can't you tell I'm joking yet? You can't identify serious Tuttle?]
Chapter 2 - Dejection

Is it common for sophisticated Richmondites to invent feeble excuses for their actions?

Believe me, dear Music Lover, it is not the pique that needs pardoning... In fact, the pique was the only thing that didn't disappoint. I have come to love your predictability.
It was the sheer inferiority of your uninspired content that was most offensive to me. Seriously, was "that the best you've got"? Comparing me to a 12 year old? At best, that line pays homage to the "I or A" debate... and that connection requires a bit of stretching...
I believe I'm starting to understand the reason for your nomadic tendencies with regard to online identities.
"I don't understand... He was always such a bright boy... but, for some reason, he just never lived up to our expectations..."

Ah... no sanctuary... not even in the, once-friendly, Kingdom of Pun...
I have a hard time believing you are
STILL not in the habit of highlighting the posts that I write to you... It is the closest thing we have to private messages, after all.
Perhaps they were right... maybe we are not so compatible after all...
[Of course, I forgive you... As the resident optimist, I trust that this won't become a trend. Everyone has their off days, even though it is much less common to be so tragically... "off".]Let me state, on record, that Music Lover is my least favorite character.
