The word has been thrown around so much now that EVERYBODY has been labeled one at one time or another. What does it really mean? Is it "bad"? Is it natural? Somebody called me a racist the other day because I don't agree with a prominent african ameican politician's policies. Is that a racist? Somebody needs to define, or redefine what it means, because right now, it is a hollow, meaningless, and needlessly emotive word.

I don't think, just because you don't like somebody's politics, that you're a racist, but if you don't like their politics, just because they're a certain race, then maybe, just maybe, you're a dumb, backwater, redneck, racist.

People now are more sophisticated when it comes to their racism. Only the most ignorant can be quoted saying a racist remark. Now most sophisticated racist opinions are wrapped around the idea that implies that 'I made it on my own!" Implying of course that others did not. The truth is none of us make it on our own. Some people are given more opportunities to succeed then others. Others are programmed to believe that their future lies in a prison cell.

Maybe "racism" needs to lose its meaning. We need to get over the whole race thing, and calling people racist doesn't help, it just further divides people.

I wouldn't call myself a racist. I don't hate on any race, but I tend to be very stereotypical. It's a natural psychological occurance. If certain races have certain tendencies where the majority of them are similar, it makes life much easier.

I'm not saying everyone in a race is the same, but be fucking honest, the majority of them are alike. I could go through a list for each race, but I'm too lazy.

However, I will make one comment. Why do Black people get offended so fucking easily? I've always had to watch what I say around black people or they'll kirk out and think I'm singling them out on something. I'm not trying to be a dick, but you guys do get the benefit of Affirmative Action. Since many of you are too busy trying to be cool instead of doing your homework, theres so little academically successful African Americans in comparison to the whole. So don't ever think you aren't getting opportunities.

How so? Not I am denying I have my issues...but the "biggest"? I doubt it. My only point is that anyone born in the same set of circumstances will bare the same fruit.
