I heard somewhere that's what hard-core Christians believe...that Jesus LITERALLY and PHYSICALLY ascended into heaven....so he actually floated up into the sky, like a balloon or something. Am I crazy? Don't some people believe that? Like the Catholics believe you're ACTUALLY eating the real flesh of Christ when you eat the wafer...they ACTUALLY believe the wafer PHYSICALLY turns into the flesh of Jesus. How fucking nuts are these people?

You are crazy -- no one believes that Jesus floated into heaven on Easter, that's just nuts.

Easter is a celebration of Jesus' resurrection. Ascension Day celebrates his return to heaven.
