Cheap Chinese products and labor have wrecked the US economy and the dollar. This has been going on since the mid 90's. I have no empathy for the corporate shills here in America that made this our reality and I certainly have none for the Chinese vampires who knowingly steal and undercut our workers and economy. I hope as many of those assholes catch the bat out flu and eat shit so manufacturing jobs can come back state side.

Gilead pharma, in the bay area, has an anti-malarial drug that seems to work on corona virus, God knows how.

The Chinese asked if they could please HAVE the patent to the drug so they could manufacture it. Gilead has said 'no thank you, but we'll be happy to manufacture the drugs and SELL it to you."

Be nice to bring some pharma industry back to the US.

Some of these jobs are coming back, others won't, but they will leave China. It's time to start investing in Vietnamese manufacturers as they will start inheriting some of these contracts the Chinese currently have. China's middle class is growing and they are starting to command higher salaries. Manufacturers will soon realize they have cheaper options in Vietnam, Bangladesh and even Central America.

Considering the Chinese have plain fucking stole many of our patents. Most Americans would be incredulous (or should be) if we were to give them another FREE. The Chinese made this bed, we need to make them sleep in it. There are a few million Chinamen laying around.
