An airplane flew over Springfield last night

I would estimate that it was at about 4000 feet. Is this normal? Why would an airplane be flying over Springfield?

It is part of the Civil Defense Corps. They were looking for German U-Boats coming up the Potomac River. Those Nazi bastards can park a sub off of Gravelly Point and fire artillery rounds into the Pentagon and move up the river and take out the White House.
